Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. My life strand interlacings are visible in this work showing my Mother's hands. This is a bereavement piece for me created the year she passed away. My Mother was a huge influence in my life and art, so this is an emotionalist artwork for me.
